Nominate now for the Lore Agnes Vision Award 2025!

The Equal Opportunities Commission and the University for Diversity are accepting nominations for the award by e-mail until June the 16th.

The award honors people who demonstrate a special commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and/or anti-discrimination. It is important that the nominee's main fields of activity do not include these topics.

The prize money associated with the Lore Agnes Vision Award is intended for use within the areas of equality, diversity, inclusion and anti-discrimination.

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, the Equal Opportunities Office at Ruhr-Universität Bochum has produced a podcast in cooperation with Department 6 as part of a project for students at Goethe-Schule Bochum:

We report on Lore-Agnes - a pioneer for women's rights and equal opportunities.

The short podcast is available in German and English.

Award: RUB is a university with strong gender equality

Professorinnenprogramm 2030

RUB has reached the next round of the Female Professors Program 2030 and has also been awarded the title 'University with Strong Gender Equality' ('Gleichstellungsstarke Hochschule') by the Joint Science Conference. This makes us part of the particularly strong performance of universities in NRW in a nationwide comparison.
